The tradition began in 1991 when Brothers Carlo and Antonio Giovannini opened Trattoria La Strada, utilizing their collective knowledge of running exclusive fine dining restaurants. They combined fifty years of experience to design an elegant and upscale interior and to develop an authentic Tuscan restaurant. Trattoria La Strada has, since its origin been identified as the finest authentic Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp District of San Diego.
New Happy Hour
La Strada has a new happy hour! We welcome you to come into our bar any day from 4-7 pm and have our bartenders make you some fantastic cocktails or simply enjoy a delicious glass of Italian wine. We have also just changed our menu so we are including half off appetizers as well!
